How ZimpleCare works

ZimpleCare protects your furniture from accidental damage — like stains, spills, cracks, and pet mishaps — as well as certain structural issues that show up after the manufacturer's warranty ends.

Your protection starts immediately. Claims for accidental or stain damage can be made after 15 days of purchase. There's no excess to pay if your claim is approved.

What's protected

You're covered for:

Accidental stains and damage, including:

  • Food, drink, ink or oil-based stains

  • Cracks, dents, rips, scratches and breaks during normal home use

  • Up to 3 pet-related damage incidents during your plan


Structural damage after warranty expiry, including:

  • Broken or warped timber and frames

  • Cracking or peeling of wood finishes

  • Broken metal parts or recliner mechanisms

  • Faulty zips, castors, buttons, seams, or stitching

  • Peeling of hide on leather

  • Loss of foam or fibre resilience


One free maintenance visit per plan year, which may include:

  • Upholstery dry-cleaning

  • Polishing or refinishing of solid wood

  • Alignment and structural checks

  • Upholstery stitch repair (minor only)

  • Fungus treatment (if needed)

  • Termite protection (solid wood only)

  • Spare/accessory inspection

  • Uninstallation and reinstallation (if required and feasible)


Note: Spare parts, if needed, may be charged separately.

What's not covered

ZimpleCare doesn't cover:

  • Damage during delivery, transit or storage

  • Commercial, rental or sublet furniture use

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions

  • Deliberate damage (by anyone, including children or pets)

  • Stains from body oils, perspiration or improper cleaning


Damage caused by:

  • Natural disasters (fire, flood, lightning, etc.)

  • Sunlight, oxidisation, or fading

  • Wear and tear or anything that happens gradually

  • Odour removal

  • Fraying, lost buttons, or damage to arm caps / scatter cushions

  • Colour variation in replacement parts

  • Unauthorized or failed repairs

  • Damage already covered under the manufacturer's warranty

  • Indirect or consequential loss (like emotional distress or inability to use the item)

  • Insect damage (except termites) or damage from wild animals

  • Damage from cleaning products not supplied or approved

  • Claims not matching the actual event or due to false info

  • Missed service appointments (you may be charged for re-visits)

Making a claim

Start a claim

  • Go to claims.assurekit.com

  • You'll need to describe what happened and upload supporting documents (e.g. photos, receipt, or proof of ownership).


Once your claim is reviewed

  • If approved, we may repair, replace, or reimburse you (up to the item's value).

  • If we replace the product, the damaged item becomes ours.


Repairs must be approved by us before they are carried out.

Cancelling your plan

  • You can cancel your protection anytime by logging into your account.

  • Your plan stays active until the end of the current period.

  • The plan fee is non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Who can use this plan?

You're eligible if:

  • You're a natural person and resident of India

  • You purchased the plan on an eligible platform

  • The item is for personal (not commercial) use


You're not eligible if:

  • You're affiliated with Assurekit (as staff, partner, etc.)

  • You've breached any terms of use

  • You've provided false or misleading information

  • Your claim is connected to fraud, crime, or misuse

  • The damage occurred during a force majeure event (natural disaster, war, lockdown, etc.)

About fraud

You must not:

  • Submit false or forged documents

  • Misstate facts or damage details

  • Claim for damage caused deliberately or by your own actions


If any part of your claim is fraudulent:

  • Your coverage ends immediately

  • Any paid claims must be repaid

  • We may report it to authorities and take legal action

Your information

We use your data to issue and manage your plan, validate claims, and detect misuse. We do not share your information with external marketing services.

We may share limited info with service partners or investigators for operational reasons, even if they're outside your region.
